Anaheim, California, here I come!

OSU-Okmulgee, Okmulgee, OK

On March 9th and 10th, I competed in the Oklahoma Business Professionals of America "PC Servicing and Troubleshooting" event. This involved me going to OSU Okmulgee in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and then going to the Spring Leadership Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma the next day. Those that competed in the events and got first through fourth place were eligable to go to the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California. The first place winner gets a free all expenses paid vacation to Anaheim.

I got first place in the PC Servicing and Troubleshooting event, and fourth place in the open Information Technology Concepts event (which means that I can compete nationally in it, but I'm not eligable to go for free). So that means that I'll be in Anaheim for a week in April. Go me!

Anaheim is a popular place, so if you're going to be there anywhere between April 22nd and April 29th, maybe we'll bump into eachother :P. Either way, I get to go to California. I can't wait to scare all of them with my Southern accent :D. If anyone lives in Anaheim or thereabouts, feel free to PM me some good places to eat or something.

This isn't really front page material, but I'm going to make it front page material: I probably won't be working on ignitionServer that week, but I'll see if I can borrow the CCNA classroom's laptop and put my devtools on it (since the hotel room will have an Internet connection and the laptop has an Ethernet port). And I haven't been working on ignitionServer lately because I have a very busy month:

When can you expect a release? Soon. April perhaps.

And there is one unfortunate thing about me going to Anaheim that I really regret: I'm going to miss my friend's 15th birthday party :(. Some of you probably know who I'm talking about...
